How to distinguish nylon mesh from polyester mesh

Acid dissolution method

Operation: take a small amount of sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid to prepare 70% solution, hydrochloric acid to prepare 20% solution, put the screen scraps into the above solution.

Combustion method

Operation: cut an 8cm × 2cm mesh leftover, tie it to chopsticks with wire, light the mesh with matches, and the mesh is ignited.

Observation: when melting, it burns slowly, and the ash is yellowish brown glass ball, which is nylon mesh; when melting, it burns with black smoke, and the ash is hard black residue, which is polyester mesh. When burning, nylon net is the smell of wool burning; polyester net is the smell of fragrance.
